Poetic Rails a poem by Hobo Shoestring read by William Semo
Howany years would it take for any one those to be as big as the Christmas tree u bought?
@@elibrown3670 it would start as a smaller tree. So I'd add about 6-10 years depending on growing conditions
If you take the Conifer after it flushes and put it in a stream about 2 inches deep in sand of moving water and leave it there for a couple of weeks or however long it takes because of the weather and water temperature😱😱😱it’ll node up💐💐💐and you can take it out🥰🥰🥰 hundred percent success rate!!!! I killed thousands and thousands upon thousands of trees before I learned this method!!! I have a small video at my site doesn’t completely show the big roots??? But it’s enough to show you so you can understand how to do it....
It’s been tested at 17 Watts.
Nice hat! Cheers from Uruguay
Nice job
LoL. How you been.
@@yesterdayswine I was perusing your entries here on RUclips and I truly like your way with words and your take on reading some of my favorite poems. I did not know you were a Poe fan? And you are into Bigfoot?
Thank you so much for sharing this I have the book it's so nice to hear it being read to me ❤
Looks Great! Have to Buy one.
Would this process work also for Green Giant arborvitae
It should, due to that being a fast growing tree. The only issue I can see would be finding the needles a little larger you'll want to be mindful of where you take the cutting from.
Im a Forney... I've been seeing Jacob Forney alot on my search
My mother is a well. I'd need more information on your side. Is it 1807 - 1844? This woman is the wife of John Forney 2 the elder, buried in Iowa. My 3x great uncle. Would be both of our ancestors brother.
RIP THANKS BROTHER.
God bless him 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome👏

I got to see more of this country than I'll ever see through his lens. Learned things from him I'll never forget. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this William!!!!!! Mark "hobo shoestring" Nichols is riding the railroad of gold!
Is it possible to graft hardwood cuttings to softwood rootstock?
It wouldn't have a huge success rate. You're better using a hardwood rootstock
Thank you kindly for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Always glad to share a poem from a soul like his. Shoestring was a great soul.
I've been meaning to pick up El Lawrence. I have a few queries and it would be very helpful if you could answer some. Have you faced any issues with clogging, hard starting or flow issues? I plan to use it for sketching and art. Have you used it an eye dropper? Any issues with staining?
It's a very dry chalky ink because of the two components to it. I like it a lot, but I would definitely consider it an ink that could be thinned or used and cleaned regularly. I haven't had hard stopping or flow issues, but that depends a lot on the pen. I've never used it with an eyedropper, but that would be the best option for it's usage.
Thank you❤
You're welcome 😊
😊
Lots of fun brother 😎
Barrel of green olives. Yummy

Like the videos and view
I think it's important to emphasize for hard to root c cuttings, like hardwood and conifers, but true in general with almost all cuttings, is that you will get no where near 100% success. The hard ones, it may be a small fraction that actually root and grow. The key is that the cuttings are easy to make, so do very many. If you can strike 100 cuttings, like off a Xmas tree, you may get 10 or 20 trees. But if you only do 5 cuttings, you may not see any success and get discouraged. If you get lucky and/or have super technique and starting material, you might have better success. Make lots of cuttings, and expect most to not make it.
Very true. I have about 50% success rate.
Conifer‘s are very difficult to root😳 but if you do it the correct way you can root them all!!! It is all about the technique the timing??the size of the plant???the temperature outside the temperature in the pond or stream???? After I learn this method with a stream I’ve had at least 90% success rate

I've just watched the film for the umpteenth time. Thanks for the reading.
Thanks we enjoyed
There is a great trail to the top of the ridge on Evitt's mountain about ten miles away from Shawnee, where you have excellent views of Wills Mountain to the west and Tussey Mountain to the east. It takes you through a large rock field near the ridge. I'd love see a video/have resources about those places if you can point me in the right direction.
I have run hundreds of miles at Shawnee over the years but never knew any of this information. I have only just started reading about the geological history of the area. This is such a great video to watch. Thank you, William!
Interesting! I've never seen anything like it. Are they specific to any area in U.S. or Canada? Thanks & cheers from Canada
They were popular during the Victorian era for a brief time. Very rare around here as well. I would say they would be more popular in the US with the area of cemeteries being places to walk etc
Pretty sad how neglected they are
Yeah it is.
The writing on the headstones was probably considered very fancy at that time. It looks like a nice cemetery.
Yeah it's very fancy. I went back and found it more. It's Unity Cemetery in Latrobe Pa where Fred Rogers is buried. It dates back to the mid 1700s
I would love to see an update of these. It's been 2 years since you uploaded this 💖
I put them out in the areas in the Laurel Highlands where they have done a lot of clear cutting in the forests. Along with ones from the Arbor Day Foundation. It definitely takes awhile for the roots to get established so you'll want to put them in an area the doesn't get too dry. Etc
@@yesterdayswineso they rooted? How long do these take to root?
Great review, thank you!
So true my friend loyaltie qualites are hard to come by these days . So many people adopted the selfishness culture thats the problem . United people strong people divided people we all collapse
Great video 👍
Does it store energy to use at night
If you connect a battery to it, yes, just as any other panel. The power of this is that it protects your devices from overcharging
Can you make a video of the results this is cool.
I could, but basically you'll get about a 40% success rate in the long term. They'll grow roots. Some will live from there and some won't. You really have to baby them as it take much longer than most hard wood cuttings.
csak törzs csúcsról lehet szaporítani ha ág csúcsról szaporítaszt ágat fogsz kapni csak álló helyzetbe
For many trees like the pine trees that you get at Christmas time, this would be correct. For spruce, this is not the case. It is why you look for a younger limb that isn't as established but still has hardwood characteristics.
The site said it was sold out or something, but I found one in my size and it comes on Tuesday. Christmas is over, but I’ll have it for next year. I’m pretty excited. Congrats on yours.
Yeah it's basically only available for sale for at most an hour after it's in stock. A lot of demand for that one. Glad you could get one. It's a nice all year hat.
How well would air layering work on a living tree that is still in the ground?
I would imagine with similar results, but much slower as the pine's sap is a natural sealing agent. I've never tried it, but I've seen it happen in nature in old mining areas.
This little tea pot is perfect! I love how small but, powerful it is. Perfect for boiling water and making tea or coffee. This would be great for heating water for dehydrated food too!
Definitely
